3. Precision nutrition
It’s no surprise that a revolutionary fitness company like Precision Nutrition is putting up such a premium blog. We are regularly blown away by infographics and posts, which answer questions we all ask ourselves (“Would I be healthier if I stopped drinking?”) And discuss issues such as how to get the most nutrients from your diet. Most of the articles are written by John Berardi, Ph.D., one of the company’s co-founders, and are full of straightforward, actionable advice.
4. Mark’s Daily Apple
If you’re curious about that paleo diet you may have heard of, Mark’s Daily Apple is here for you. But it goes way beyond just living like a cave man. Mark Sisson, creator of The Primal Blueprint lifestyle, also publishes articles on life improvement topics, such as priorities, time or money? Plus, every week, he answers readers’ questions, making it seem like he’s there with you, every step of the way.
5. Well-being mom
Although its target audience is a bit older, Wellness Mama covers topics that anyone can support. She offers tips for health and the home, like how to reduce your plastic use, and publishes articles on other health trends, like coloring books for adults. Just keep in mind that she is not an expert, so while she cites sources for some health tips, not all of them are 100% proven and others are dated.

This blog from the folks at MyFitnessPal combines two of our favorite things: food and fitness. By sharing delicious, healthy meals, tips for eating better, and easy and effective workouts (Did anyone say exercise adjustments for stronger glutes? Sign up.), The blog continues to engage a MyFitnessPal community. already active. Our favorite posts are the Video Workouts, which include tons of helpful tips to make sure you’re doing every move right.
7. Easy and stupid paleo
Sometimes the best recipes are the easiest. And sometimes the best advice comes in the form of hard-hitting truth bombs instead of sugar-coated treats. If these thoughts resonate with you, then Steph Gaudreau of Stupid Easy Paleo is the girl who will give you a healthy, much needed kick. Nutritious, Paleo-friendly Recipes (How good does this Thai coconut soup recipe sound?) While she isn’t an expert in every area she writes about, her knowledge of nutrition and science are reflected in all his articles.
Jill Coleman’s mission is to help women create healthy, fulfilling and shameless lifestyles. On her blog, you’ll find articles on how to change your mindset about yourself as well as the workouts that she loves right now (no cardio machine required). His identifiers? Coleman holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in human nutrition. She also helps fitness professionals build their brand online through her coaching program.
Gina Harvey writes her messages in a frank and totally accessible voice. She is a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer who takes great pride in her role as a military wife and mother. Her workouts are easy to follow and her recipes are straightforward, most can be made with ingredients you already have in your kitchen. Bonus: she also publishes DIY beauty recipes.
10. Zen Habits
In a world filled with constant distractions (we know the willpower required not to check Snapchat right now), Leo Babauta wrote the book on what it means to do less and be more present. But you don’t have to run to the nearest bookstore; you can check out Babuata’s thoughts on her Zen Habits site. In just a few years, Zen Habits has grown into the go-to blog for healthy habits and minimalism with popular articles on advice for 20-year-olds and unconditional self-acceptance.
11. Wod mindset
A lot of attention is devoted to exercising our body, but what about our mind? This is where Mentality WOD comes in. Based on today’s CrossFit workout, this site posts quick, actionable “workouts” to improve your thoughts, feelings, and attitudes. For example, do you want to achieve your goals? Here are three things to focus on. Blog founder Dawn Fletcher strongly believes that an improved mindset will lead to better performance, whether in the workplace or on the playground.
